Alaro is a small town and municipality in the Raiguer region of central Mallorca.
Historically central to the shoe manufacturing industry in Mallorca, the village now has only the Tony Mora factory founded in 1918 which is known for its handmade cowboy boots.
Alaro is now a popular village and commuter town, with most of its inhabitants working in the capital of the island Palma de Mallorca.

The Raiguer Mallorca.
